I’m proud to announce that I made into the regional finals for the 2013 Newsong Songwriting Contest. Winners from this round be invited to perform in the finals at The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City on October 19. What a GRAND time we had in the Gulf Coasts of AL, MS, & FL! New Orleans has never let us down w/ fun! Mardi Gras was magical & New Orleans showed us some serious love. Please read this GREAT mention from the Times Picayune!
We head back to the hills for a spell before several days at the coasts of NC & SC before heading down to one of our FAVORITE festivals to date. SUWANNEE SPRINGFEST! We are playing 3 times during the weekend so check out the schedule here.

We are OVER THE MOON to announce we will be appearing at the upcoming Springfest 2013!! This is a great weekend of incredible music and camping in Live Oak, FL at the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. The last day to get early-bird tickets is the Dec 28th, so make to head on over and get them while they’re hot!

AHEM! To everyone who pledged during the kickstarter campaign, THANK YOU! This is the beautiful new van! Please keep an eye out for us in our travels. I’ve been calling her Blue Bell, while Jason insists that she is Blue Steel. Ha! Regardless, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. She is going to make touring comfortable & AWESOME!
2012 will bring BIG changes & new adventures as we, hit the road full-time! We head to SC, GA, & then hang out in Florida for a few weeks soaking up the sun. Looking forward to expanding the listening audience in 2012 by traveling all over this great nation.

The Trio heads to Tennessee!!! I am making my first stop EVER in Music City, NASHVILLE on Tuesday at The 5 Spot as part of their new faces night! Wednesday at noon we’ll be on The Blue Plate Special on WDVX in Knoxville. You can stream online! Next we head to Johnson City to the The Acoustic Coffeehouse at 8:30pm. Rounding out our Volunteer State weekend we hit the The Preservation Pub in Knoxville.

BIG weekend planned! Magnolia Fest is one of the biggest weekends for me every year. I have been going to Magfest and Springfest down in Live oak, Florida for 10 years. It is a family reunion for sure!

Fall is here and I have lots of great gigs to look forward to! Next up, the Loretta Lynn Tribute at the Grey Eagle this Saturday. I can’t wait to pay tribute to one of my favorite inspirations of all time! We will be donating all proceeds to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. The full band closes out the night with some of my favorite Loretta songs.
Got a busy Friday coming up as me and the boys (and gal) will be rocking the The Mountain State Fair in Fletcher, NC. We’ll be playing the Bojangles Music Stage at 2pm. The band line up will consist of Richard Foulk on drums, Ashleigh Caudill on Bass, and Darin Gentry on fiddle.
Once we wrap up there, the trio heads over to the new Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville. We’re looking forward to checking out this venue for the first time! Show starts at 8pm and goes until 10.
